//-------- How to use this Editor tool for the PianoHack ------------------------------------ Micro-sd card must be 32gb and formatted with FAT32 and there must be a PianoHack Folder. You can edit the the phRiffs.txt directly in a text editor or you can use the PianoHack html editor file, which will open in any browser. The phRiffs.txt must be saved in PianoHack folder on the micro sd card drive for the PianoHack to read it. Use the riff buttons in the html app to listen and play through the selected Riff. IMPORTANT, the riff you enter must be in the key of C for the PianoHack to translate it to the proper Key that you select on the PianoHack. There is also a backup default Riffs text called phRiffs_backup.txt. If you want to use it please copy it and rename it to phRiffs.txt. Also, you can also just download these files off the PianoHack.org website. Browser saving note: For direct saving back to phRiffs.txt, use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and open the file with the blue/yellow phRiffs.txt button at the top. Safari and Firefox can still use this editor, but they save by downloading a new phRiffs.txt. Replace the old file on your microSD card with the downloaded copy, then reload/open that file again if you want to continue editing.
